Description:

BlackFlag Advisors is seeking a Senior Finance Consultant with experience in GOVCON wrap rate development and financial analysis. This role focuses on building, benchmarking, and validating competitive wrap rates (fringe, overhead, G&A, and fee). The candidate will work closely with PTW and capture teams to model cost structures, dissect competitor pricing, and analyze indirect rate trends across GovCon sectors. Strong financial acumen and the ability to translate financial data into actionable bid strategy is essential.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MA or MBA preferred

• 10+ years of relevant experience (or 8+ with Master’s) supporting pricing, FP&A, or financial strategy in the federal contracting space

• Demonstrated expertise in building wrap rates and modeling cost structures (direct labor, fringe, overhead, G&A, and fee)

• Experience conducting financial forecasting and dissecting financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, indirect rate structures)

• Knowledge of CAS, FAR, and indirect rate compliance is highly desirable

• Ability to synthesize disparate data into clear, actionable intelligence for executive audiences

• Skilled at working with and analyzing large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights

• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders, including capture and executive teams

• Experience with subscription tools, SAM.gov, and open-source research tools preferred

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel-based financial modeling and analysis

Target Salary Range: $95,000 - $160,000. Salary range is dependent on relevant experience, education, and role complexity.
