Junior Competitive Intelligence Consultant

Description:

BlackFlag Advisors has an opening for an entry-level position for candidates with strong research, writing, and analytical skills. The Junior Competitive Intelligence Consultant will assist in tracking competitor activity, compiling intel dashboards, and support the development of competitor profiles and landscapes.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

• BA/BS degree and 0–4 years of relevant experience

• Strong research and analytical skills with demonstrated interest in market analysis, federal procurement, or competitive intelligence

• Ability to support the development of competitor profiles and opportunity landscapes under guidance

• Familiarity with publicly available federal contract data (e.g., SAM.gov, USAspending.gov); experience with tools like GovWin, BGOV, or DACIS is a plus

• Comfortable gathering and organizing data from multiple sources into structured formats

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise summaries and contribute to internal briefings

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple research tasks in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Target Salary Range: $50,000 - $90,000. Salary range is dependent on relevant experience, education, and role complexity.
