IT Systems Engineer / Architect

Description:

BlackFlag Advisors is seeking a senior-level systems engineer or architect with experience designing IT solutions for federal proposals. This role supports the development of technical approaches for client pursuits, including cloud, network, and cybersecurity architectures.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

• BA/BS degree and 10+ years of experience or Masters degree (preferred) with 8+ years of experience

• Strong quantitative background, with an understanding of probability distributions and Monte Carlo simulations

• Wide range of experience and familiarity with different disciplines desired: cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and AI, enterprise IT infrastructure and services, agile software development, etc.

• Extensive experience developing basis of estimates

• Experience with the SEER parametric modeling tools highly desired

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with client senior leadership

• High degree of proficiency with the Microsoft Office

Target Salary Range: $140,000 - $275,000. Salary range is dependent on relevant experience, education, and role complexity.
